I've been researching herbs for years now. I dabbled in TCM and western herbal energetics. Read through Michael Moore and Steven Horne. I regularly cross reference Richard Wheelan when I'm looking into complaints.
I say that to say this. I believe the formula I've created and meticulously balanced is the best daily formula for people bar none. Organic herbs harvested at the right time - the correct way - and percolated carefully and correctly - have the highest possible concentrations of key constituents that are readily available for your body to metabolize. This means that all of the multitude of affects an herb is capable of producing will absolutely be produced. All of the vitamins and minerals are metabolized easily and efficiently by the human body. Here is a list of the intended affects of the formula: Adaptogen - Anti inflammatory - Anti depressant - Nervine - Anti bacterial - Anti viral - Carminative - Hypotensive - Hypertensive - Immune amphoteric - Anti arrhythmic - Anti septic - Anti tussive - Demulcent - Analgesic - Anti emetic - Aromatic - Counter irritant - Diaphoretic - Digestive tonic - Circulatory stimulant - Anti mutagenic - Anti oxidant - Cholagogue - Hepatoprotective Here is a list of the main vitamins and minerals contained in the formula: Niacin, Copper, Vitamin B6, Iron, Magnesiumn, Manganese, Potassium, Selenium, Zinc, Phosphorus, Iron, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Calcium, Cobalt, Vitamin B12, Vitexen, Vitamin B1 - B2 - B3 - B5 - B6, Choline, Silicon. Here is a list of some of the phytonutrients contained in the formula: beta-carotene, glycyrrhizin, glabridin, isoliquiritigenin, thymol, phenol, ferulic acid, and quercetin

When I suggest herbal remedies to potential clients I always hear things like "I tried valerian root! I still can't sleep!" or "I take turmeric capsules religiously and my joints still hurt!" Medicinal herbs can't be treated as your everyday plant. They must be harvested at the correct time (depending if you're using the root or aerial parts of the herb), can't be allowed to reach temperatures over 101 degrees fahrenheit, and absolutely must be organic. Even then taking the herb in any form other than a tincture is going to severely limit the intended effects of the herb.
Herbs are plants and as such every cell in the herb is surrounded by a cell wall. This cell wall is very hard for the human body to break down allowing only a small amount (~15%)(1) of the key constituents (all the good stuff) contained in the herbs to be absorbed. Our tinctures are created by using a process called the percolation method to slowly filter alcohol through a dry powdered herb so that the alcohol draws all of the key constituents out of the herb from inside the cell into the alcohol. This new alcohol solution (tincture) contains a high concentration of the key constituents of the herbs and is very easy for the body to absorb.
